Below I have added just a few or many scenarios that the new 2006 EPA has changed /outlawed.
1: You can no longer move your motor and transmission drive train to another custom frame setup.
Harley will not supply EPA certified motors to be installed in non-Harley bikes. You must buy an EPA certified motor from a 3rd party which is expensive.
You can not change you Harley Frame without loosing your Harley title.
You can no longer install a new $2500.00 Non-EPA motor in your project.
This will drive the price of any economical custom motorcycle out of budget.
2: If you build a ground up from parts or a
KIT Motorcycle, you are stuck with it like a bad Tattoo.
You can never build another motorcycle that is EPA except.
