S & S ENGINE CASES.
S & S complete engine cases come "set-up" with the cam and sprocket shaft, Timken main bearing races installed and pinion shaft bearing race pressed in and line-honed, ready to fit. This offers a substantial labor savings and eliminates the need and expense of "line boring and honing". Special design features include:

• Cast from 356-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy and CNC machined for consistent superior quality.
• Additional material has been added in key areas for strength, with out requiring modifications for frame clearance.
• Clearances for any stroke up to and including 5" with stock or beefy S & S rods.
• Ported breather passageways/cavity optimizes  oil scavenging efficiency while providing maximum timing specifications.

Crankcase assemblies include left and right cases, case bolts, nuts and washers, cylinder mounting studs, timing hole and drain plugs. assorted case fittings. sprocket shaft Timken bearing assembly, drive sprocket spacer and oil seal, pinion shaft main bearing race, cam needle bearing, oil pump drive shaft bushing and installation instructions. Shipped with oil scraper machined for stock diameter flywheels.

S & S SUPER STOCK GENERATOR STYLE CASES
S & S Super stock generator style cases maintain the original engine appearance while benefiting from state-of-the art design elements that improve engine performance and reliability. Special design features include:

• Cast from 356-T6 aluminum alloy and CNC machined.
• Stock-like oiling passages accept original cast iron or late style aluminum oil pump.
• Sprocket shaft Timken bearing and ready-to-fit pinion main bearing race is used for all years.
• Machined for original style primary covers stamped steel for 1958-1969 or cast aluminum for 1965-1969 engines.
• Standard 1/4" - 20 threads are used to mount gear cover, oil pump, tappet guides and timer bracket.
• Machined for late style, 2-brush generator, with 5/16" mounting bolts. Crankcase assemblies include right and left cases, crankcase screws, washers and nuts, cylinder mounting studs, timing hole and drain plugs, assorted crankcase fittings, sprocket shaft Timken bearing, oil seal, pinion shaft main bearing race, cam needle bearing, circuit breaker drive and idler gear shafts, oil pump drive shaft bushing and installation instructions. Available for standard or Big Bore cylinder spigots.

S & S Super stock XL crankcase assemblies include cylinder studs, main bearing races, cam bearings and transmission bearings installed. S & S heavy duty transmission access door with bushings and bearing. Crankcase hardware and billet tappet guides.

S & S SUPER STOCK STOCK BORE SPORTSTER EVOLUTION STYLE CASES
S & S Evo Stock Bore XL Crankcase Set available for 1986 - 1990 and 1991 - up applications. 1986 - 1990 application requires 1991 - up five speed transmission, clutch, alternator, primary cover and flywheel assembly. 1991 - up applications require 1986 - 1990 three piece style pushrod covers and 1986 - 1990 oil filter housing. Cases are supplied with all necessary hardware for crankcase assembly. Cylinder studs, main bearing race, cam bearings and transmission bearings are all installed and each set of cases include a heavy duty transmission access door.
