CRANE CLONE - REPLACEMENT FOR THE 'Hi-4' IGNITION SYSTEM
If you can not get a " Crane'HI-4" system, our high-performance electronic ignitions have the entire unit mounted directly to the ignition timing plate for ease-of-installation and trouble-free operation. They're available in dual-fire and single-fire "race' models. They all feature fully-adjustable advance curves, switching for kick or electric start, a tachometer output, and a rev-limiter that's adjustable from 4,000 to 8,000 RPM . The "race" single-fire kit has adjustable rear cylinder timing, and both single-fire kits have the necessary circuitry to correct the read-out of the electronic tachometers on late-model motorcycles.
Fits all Sportster® models from 1983 up - not Fuel Injected Models and Big Twin models from 1984 to 1999, not Twin Cam Models that still have their OEM electronic ignition timing rotor in place. They may also be installed on all Sportster models from 1971 thru 1982 and Big Twins from 1970 thru 1983 when their mechanical advance units and point ignitions, or early electronic ignitions and rotors are replaced by an OEM 32402-83 ignition timing rotor.

1: Crane recommends the use of Spiral core spark plug wires and high-performance coils with at least 2 ohms primary resistance for these ignitions.
2: Ignition unit will not work in conjunction with racing air shifter installed.
